Ballot Language Challenged

Cures Without Cloning is challenging the Missouri Secretary of State in court because the ballot title she certified for the Cures Without Cloning Initiative is inaccurate and misleading. "Journalists who disagree with us are even criticizing Robin Carnahan’s outrageous actions." Click Here to see actual ballot wording

Cures Without Cloning says "The Secretary of State has been willfully negligent in her duty to write a ballot summary that is “in the form of a question using language neither intentionally argumentative nor likely to create prejudice either for or against the proposed measure.” We believe her actions are so blatantly prejudicial the court will find the current title invalid and certify a fair and accurate ballot title. During litigation, we continue to train thousands of volunteer petition circulators across the state so we will be prepared to move quickly when the court decision is announced.
